Join us for an information session to learn more about each program and volunteering with Southern Maine Agency on Aging. Upcoming volunteer instructor trainings include:
Healthy Steps for Older Adults: Designed to raise participants’ awareness of fall risks, introduce strategies to reduce falls, improve health and well-being, and provide important referrals and resources.
Tai Chi for Health & Balance: Developed by Dr. Paul Lam, this program uses gentle Sun-style Tai Chi routines that are safe, easy to learn, and suitable for every fitness level.
A Matter of Balance: Nationally recognized program designed to reduce the fear of falling and encourage physical activity.
